Abstract

Kent Scheer, an artisan toy maker with a small acreage in central Minnesota, had an idea. Kent wanted to do something positive for the environment and perhaps earn a bit of money as well. He had heard of carbon sequestration and selling carbon credits, but needed to know more. Perhaps this was an opportunity for him, and for other small landowners, to practice environmental stewardship and add to their incomes.
