N2 - Current approaches to the management of prostate cancer include surgery, radiation therapy or hormonal manipulation either individually or in combination. Diet is increasingly being recognized as playing a role in many cancers including that of the prostate. There is now considerable evidence suggesting a role for vitamin D in prostate cancer. In this article, we have reviewed the current evidence supporting the use of vitamin D in the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer.
