Abstract
By carefully considering the four variables that make-up a textile - fibre, yarn, structure and finish - a designer or manufacturer can select a fabric that will produce the best end product. The first three variables were discussed in part I (see abstract 92W/05157); finishes are discussed briefly in this part.
