Abstract
A rapid synthesis (4 h) method of AM-6 zeolite was reported. The effects of the n(K+)/n (V4+) ratio and the pH value of the initial gel on the purity and crystallinity of AM-6 zeolite were investigated. The synthesis conditions optimize at n(K+)/n (V4+)=3 and pH=12.5. The formation mechanism of the-V-O-V-atomic wires in AM-6 was monitored by UV Raman spectroscopy in combination with UV-Vis spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction patterns. It turns out that the formation of the VO3 - chains composed of corner-sharing VO4 in the silicate gel plays an important role in the formation of-V-O-V-atomic wires in AM-6 crystals.
