Abstract
This article describes USTAAD, a Computer Aided Learning (CAL) program which provides self-paced test and drill facilities in elementary electronics circuit analysis. Circuits, either synthesized or user-specified, are displayed on the user’s terminal. The user can be quizzed on electrical properties of these circuits and/or he can interactively analyze them. A sophisticated calculator frees the user from paper-and-pencil calculations, and an adequate editing facility allows interactive circuit design. The integration of USTAAD’s varied capabilities and the environmental features of USTAAD are emphasized.
