Abstract

Substantial work is underway to improve the base of skills, knowledge, aptitudes, and attitudes in the veterinary profession, with an eye to enhancing and sustaining the economic health of the veterinary profession. Projects have been launched to improve the entire span of the veterinary career. Outcomes from current activities will provide a solid foundation for building future programs.
