Abstract
Films of Hg and Xe deposited onto substrates held at 4 K exhibit superconducting transitions nearly identical to those of granular NbN films. Universal current scaling is also satisfied with critical point exponents identical to those found for NbN. The scaling function is presented in a manner which emphasizes the analogy between the I-V characteristic of a superconducting film and the equation of state of a magnetic system.
