Abstract

Diphenylacetylene traps the intermediate imido cluster formed during the protonation of [Ru₄N-(CO)₁₂]^-. Structural characterization of the new cluster Ru₄(NH)(PhCCPh)(CO)₁₁revealed the first example of a tetrabridging imido ligand.
