Abstract

Diphenylacetylene traps the intermediate imido cluster formed during the protonation of [Ru4N-(CO)12]-. Structural characterization of the new cluster Ru4(NH)(PhCCPh)(CO)11revealed the first example of a tetrabridging imido ligand.
