Abstract

This chapter is a summary of some of the dominant temporal conceptualizations in physics. We include Newton’s divine time, Einstein’s geometric time integration in four-space, Quantum Mechanics, Hawking’s imaginary time, including our own perspective upon complex time, and Smolin’s critique of physical time concepts that disregard of the qualia quality of time.
