Three-mirror resonator with aspheric feedback mirror for laser mode selection and mode shaping

Abstract

A novel three-mirror laser resonator with custom-designed aspheric feedback mirror is reported. Strong modal selection and mode-shaping is predicted by numerical simulation and observed experimentally in a Nd:YVO4 laser.
