Abstract

An amazing array of infectious diseases have the capability of being passed from individual to individual during sexual activity. Each year witnesses both an increase in the number and an increase in the variety of these infections. Discussion of all these problems is no longer possible within the confines of a short article and, for this reason, only those diseases known to be responsive to conventional antibiotics and classically considered as sexually transmitted diseases are considered.
