Abstract
A two-step diffusion model was used to explore the possibility of diffusion control in future media design. Reduction of saturation magnetization Ms in both conventional CoCrPt magnetic thin films and {CoCrPt}92(SiO2)8 granular films were fitted reasonably well to the model.
