Abstract
The equivalent body surface charge mapping concept introduced previously and analyzed for a model in which the torso was considered as a uniform half-space volume conductor is generalized to an arbitrary torso geometry. The equivalent body surface charge may be shown from classical potential theory to be a solution of a chain of two Fredholm equations of the second kind.
