Abstract

Oxidation with Fenton's reagent and by direct ozonation of the enantiomers of the antitumour agent cyclophosphamide afforded optically pure enantiomers of 4-ketocyclophosphamide. Oxidation with potassium permanganate, however, gave the corresponding racemate.
