is Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Health Sciences Center. After graduation from the Yale University School of Medicine, he received his education in surgery at the University of Minnesota, where he also received a Ph.D. He is the recipient of a Research Career Development Award from the National Institutes of Health. His main research interests include transplantation immunobiology and surgical infections.
