Abstract

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Women's Committee of the Korean Physical Society (KPS). After its establishment in 2002, it launched many activities for helping and promoting female physicists, such as physics camps for high school girls, special sessions during KPS annual meetings, female graduate student awards, site visits and mentoring, several national and international workshops, and four series of national surveys in the KPS. These activities will be explained in detail, and the result of the last survey in 2018 will be reported, which provides useful information about the status of female physicists in Korea when these latest data are compared with the previous data.
