Frontotemporal dementias are a heterogeneous group of dementias that affect the frontal and /or temporal dementia. It affects people during their fifth–sixth decade of life. However, it can occur as early as the third decade or as late as the eight decades. It is characterised by changes in personality, social interactions, language abnormalities and a host of other symptoms which makes it heterogeneous. We discuss the case of a 71-year-old man with dramatic behavioural changes, language deficits consistent with frontotemporal dementia.
