Abstract

The lecture is an important and indispensible tool for teaching undergraduate chemical engineering students. The electronics revolution will not dramatically change the basic structure of the lecture, but supplement and enhance what is being taught. The lecture has three characteristics, such as content, format, and evaluation. Its content depends on the discipline in which the lecture is offered. Developing this content requires a consensus among those working in the field.
