Abstract
A novel approach for the algorithmic extraction of expressive shaping is presented. The field interpolation and visualization principles are given. The results presented contain explicit expressive information and are available for visualization or for other performance analysis tools. The algorithms are not restricted to specific sound parameters and the method can be used for extensive analysis of expressive shaping.
