Abstract
We present numerical computations for the dynamics of the development of twinned martensitic microstructure and for the propagation of the austeniticfinely twinned martensitic interface. Our computations approximated a threedimensional model for the dynamics of the In-20.7 at% T1 alloy which used the stress tensor derived from the Ericksen-James energy density.
