Abstract
Transceiver arrays allow for increased B1 control, which is important at ultra high frequencies. A number of practical considerations for the design and built of transceiver head arrays consisting of up to 32 individual elements based on striplines are discussed. For improved B1 + control and reduced SAR in all spatial dimensions, it is important to realize stripline arrays not only circumscribing but also with multiple splits along the longitudinal direction.
