Abstract

A novel hybrid hydrogel system was designed and prepared based on N-(2-hydroxypropyl)-methacrylamide (HPMA) copolymers and genetically engineered coiled-coil protein domains as crosslinkers. Its potential application in biomedicine is being pursued.
