Abstract

Base hydrolysis of (η⁵-C₅Me₅)TiCl ₃ in toluene yields [(η⁵-C₅Me ₅)Ti]₄O₆ which, according to X-ray structural analysis, has an adamantane-like cage structure with a tetrahedral Ti ^IV₄O₆ core.
