Abstract
In the past decade, the field of refractive surgery has progressed beyond the traditional laser techniques (LASIK and PRK). These days, several safe and effective methods have became available for patients covering all ranges of refractive errors including irregular corneas. These methods include intrastromal corneal ring segments, phakic and pseudophakik ocular implants, and corneal incisional surgeries. They have been proven to provide excellent visual results.
