Funding Information:/~ ~.j - Anthony Azakie, MD, obtained his BSc and medical degrees from McGill University. He then completed general surgical training at the University of California at San Francisco, during which time he also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Cardiovascular Research Institute at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr Azakie is currently a resident in cardiac surgery at the University of Toronto. His research interests include molecular genetic regulation of cardiovascular development and cellular transplantation.
