Abstract
The photon absolute energy calibration of BESIII Electromagnetic Calorimeter (EMC) is investigated. Using Monte Carlo (MC) single photons, we give the calibration factors for MC simulation data. On the basis of MC calibration, we give the second calibration for real data by using the inclusive process of ψ'→π0X. In BESIII, the photon energy can be reconstructed by the matching between the Time-of-Flight counters (TOF) and EMC energy deposits. In this case, the corresponding photon absolute energy calibrations are also studied. The results show that the measuring precision is about 0.5% for the photons from ψ'→γXc1.2.
