Abstract
The Zwitterions anions and their neutral counterparts were analyzed to expose the consequences of electrostatic effects on the reactivity, energetics, and analysis of dipolar ions. The zwitterionic salts and their neutral counterparts were electrosprayed into FTMS. The resulting anions and their collision induced fragmentation products were explored by photoelectron spectroscopy. The result states that the electron binding energies of zwitterionic anions and their neutral counterparts were obtained, and the consequences of charge separation were also explored.
