Abstract

In this chapter we immerse ourselves in the core elements that constitute a sound; we discuss waves, their specifics, and the frequency content of a sound. Moreover, we elaborate on the sinusoidal functions and the processes that characterize them and have revolutionized modern technology, culminating in Fourier’s Theorem.
