Abstract

In this paper we present homotopy perturbation method to develop soliton solution of the nonlinear Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. One of the newest analytical methods to solve nonlinear equations is the application of homotopy perturbation techniques. The HPM deforms a difficult problem into a simple problem which can be easily solved. The results are compared with the exact solutions.
