Abstract

We demonstrate elimination of RF power degradation over 94 km of single-mode fiber in subcarrier transmission from 0.25 to 14 GHz by modulating a 35-ps soliton train. Our results show that solitons are good candidates for subcarrier transmission to avoid degrading dispersion effects.
