Abstract
Seven confirmatory factor analysis programs that run on a personal computer—EQs, EzPATH, LINCS, LISCOMP, LISREL 7, SIMPLIS, and CALIS—are reviewed along five dimensions: (1) clarity of documentation, (2) ease of use, (3) computational accuracy and estimator options, (4) error diagnos tics and the assessment of model fit, and (5) model flexibility.
