Abstract
Developing intelligent water resource management systems is necessary for a sustainable future. Many aspects of these systems are highly related to spatio-temporal (ST) databases, particularly spatio-temporal network databases (STNDB). However, this domain poses several challenges. In this paper we present our view of the important research issues, including the challenges of modeling of spatio-temporal networks (STN) and data access methods.
