Abstract
Energy heuristics predict global existence from small data for semi-linear Klein-Gordon systems when the nonlinearity has order p > 1 + 2/n. We complement these heuristics and previous rigorous existence results by demonstrating blow-up from small data for p ≤ 1 + 2/n.
