Abstract
The implications of the preceding chapters for a developmental perspective on relationships between parents and adolescents are discussed, with a particular focus on differences among dyads and the process of transformation in relationships during the transition to adolescence. Agreement and disagreement are viewed as interrelated to interactive and emotional components of relationships.
