Abstract

Tracheal tumors can often be managed by circumferential resection and primary endto-end anastomosis. Bronchial segmental resections and anastomosis are done in a manner similar to that of the trachea. Indication for resection of the trachea and for lobectomy combined with segmental resection of the main stem bronchus is included in the text. Two tracheal lesions and four bronchial lesions are presented. The availability of segmental resection was fortuitous in these cases.
