Abstract

Using 1.16 × 10⁶ BB events collected at the γ(4S) resonance by the CLEO Collaboration at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR), we have searched for decays of B mesons to exclusive two-body hadronic final states including a D_s⁺ or a D_s^*+ meson. We obtain the 90% confidence level upper limit β (B → D_s^(*)+π^- + D_s^*+p^- + D_s^(*)+π⁰ + D_s^(*)+η + D_s^(*)+p⁰ + D_s^(*)+(ω) × β(D_s⁺ → φπ⁺) < 1.8 × 10^-5. We have also searched for the W-exchange decays, B⁰ → D_s^(*)-K^(*)+.

N2 - Using 1.16 × 106 BB events collected at the γ(4S) resonance by the CLEO Collaboration at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR), we have searched for decays of B mesons to exclusive two-body hadronic final states including a Ds+ or a Ds*+ meson. We obtain the 90% confidence level upper limit β (B → Ds(*)+π- + Ds*+p- + Ds(*)+π0 + Ds(*)+η + Ds(*)+p0 + Ds(*)+(ω) × β(Ds+ → φπ+) < 1.8 × 10-5. We have also searched for the W-exchange decays, B0 → Ds(*)-K(*)+.
