Abstract
Ms. Yates evaluates the accuracy of Babel Fish in translating legal information by comparing Babel Fish translations of law-oriented texts in Spanish and German to professional translations. Most contained severe errors that altered the meaning. She concludes that Babel Fish is not appropriate for most uses in law libraries.
