Scaling behavior of the specific heat of Gd near Tc

The specific heat of Gd near Tc is shown to scale with magnetic field in accordance with scaling law predictions. A surprisingly close agreement is found between the scaled data and the predictions of the spin- 1 2 Heisenberg model.
