Abstract
The authors consider the topic of (robust) pointwise stabilizability of families of linear time-invariant (LTI) plants arising from unstructured modeling uncertainty. It is shown that there is no advantage in using general nonlinear time-varying controllers over LTI ones for certain problems of (robust) pointwise stabilization.
