Revamping an art library website an approach to sinkyour teeth into

Research output: Contribution to specialist publicationArticle

Abstract

The views of Danielle Becker on the factors that play a key role in upgrading the design the website of an art library are presented. The website re-design effort was started by searching the Internet for examples from other college or university libraries that had branch libraries. The University of Minnesota's effort was considered as one of the examples for re-designing the website of the art library. The library link on the University of Minnesota's homepage brought the user to the main University of Minnesota Libraries webpage. Danielle Becker was informed that the visual arts library was going to need its own unique design after including the social services library and the health professions library in the main design of the redesigned website. The author abandoned the template and started the process of designing a website for the visual arts library.
