Abstract

Gas myelography was used to evaluate cervical spinal cord compression due to congenital atlanto axial dislocation, and a system was devised to quantitate the radiological observations. This technique permits schematic cross sectional representation of the spinal cord and adjacent structures at critical levels, which is essential in the diagnosis and management of spinal cord compression.
