Abstract
It is known that first quantum corrections to non-perturbative scattering amplitudes induced by solutions of field equations in euclidean space are expressed through the on-mass-shell residues of the propagators of particles in the field of such a solution. Here it is shown that the high-energy behavior of these residues can be found by applying the Regge-pole technique and is intimately related to the translational zero modes of the classical solution. The quantum corrections to the scattering amplitude induced by instantons in a Higgs vacuum are universally described by a simple formula which in the limiting case of vanishing Higgs vacuum expectation reproduces the recent result of Mueller.
