Abstract
Trismus and limited oral access present a clinical challenge to prosthodontic management. An edentulous patient who developed microstomia after a maxillary tumor resection and radiation therapy is presented. The clinical procedure and the rationale for the treatment approach are discussed. Implanted-supported prostheses were prescribed for this patient. (J Prosthet Dent 2008;99:344-350).
