N2 - The study progress in the preparation of silver nanoparticle in recent years is reviewed, which includes preparation methods of chemical reduction, electron beam irradiation, microbial synthesis, and plant based synthesis. Finally, this paper points out that the environment-friendly microbial synthesis and plant based synthesis methods for silver nanoparticle and the corresponding utilizations represent important developing directions in the future.
