Abstract
1. 1. The early postoperative function of kidneys recovered from cadaveric donors is reported. 2. 2. Ischemia time was minimal in the group of donors who died during cardio-pulmonary bypass for intracardiac surgery. 3. 3. Satisfactory postoperative function was observed in these kidneys despite prolonged periods of cardiopulmonary bypass.
