This paper is one of a series for use in Current Operational Problems (COP) forum with the goal of focusing industry attention on high-priority problems faced by electric utility operators. The short note reports in this paper discuss problems operations departments face with mature control centers. These short notes are intended to describe the problems and the complexity of solutions to the problems.
