Abstract
KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) provides school bus service to the majority of its students over a relatively large geographic region. We applied the Clarke-Wright heuristic in to quickly find routes that adhere to capacity and travel-time constraints. These routes improved transportation spending and reliability significantly over the previous routes that KIPP used.
