Abstract
In patients with non-resectable malignant liver tumors, therapy may include systemic chemotherapy or locoregional therapy. Locoregional therapy may decrease, stabilize, or increase the size of these tumors, depending on the specific approach taken. As a result, the assessment of response to locoregional therapy requires familiarity with the appearance of tumors after each type of therapy. New guidelines are being developed in order to better evaluate tumor response to specific therapies. This chapter will discuss the imaging findings of hepatic tumors undergoing locoregional therapy and the methods of assessing response to therapy.
