Polarized and magic angle fifth-order 2D electronically non-resonant Raman scattering from CS2

Abstract

We have successfully used phase matching considerations to provide significant discrimination against cascaded lower-order responses and measured the direct fifth-order response from the intermolecular motions in liquid CS2. Here we report the measured polarized and magic angle responses and discuss comparisons with simulations.
